Touch
Character: Aromatic - Citrusy - Exotic - Fresh - Fun
Aromas: Pineapple - Lemongrass - Multivitamin Juice
Craziness Factors: Cloudy Look - Colour
- Field Blend
- Welschriesling
The de-stemmed grapes macerate for 3 weeks on the skins. The fermented juice mature on the lees in big used oak barrels.
Touch from Koppitsch is kind of a cuvée of a field blend and Welschriesling. The big white egret – that inspired the label as well – often visits the vineyard right by the Neusiedl Lake. The orange wine is aromatic, fresh and fun to drink. This 2020 is refreshing, it has a bit of exotic notes like unripe pineapple and mango. A hint of ‘multivitamin juice’ flavours, lemongrass, citrus fruits and a touch of hay.

Natural wines made with Love!
“We craft natural wines with joy, complexity, honesty and soul.” Alex and Maria Koppitsch swear by low intervention winemaking and natural, handcrafted wines. The vineyard is located on the shores of Lake Neusiedl, where grapevines flourish on the sandy soil of the remains of the ancient Danube river. Alexander focuses on expressing his homeland’s unique terroir in his winemaking. As a result his wines are beautiful and complex as much as they are playful.
