Petracavallo has produced a Primitivo that goes away from the conventional juicy Primitivo. This one is rather earthy and based on tannins. It is fruity and powerful (14.5% of alcohol) with aromas of blackberry, plum, rosemary and a cool tobacco aftertaste.
