The St. Laurent grapes of this delicious red from Pittnauer come from a special area in the north of Burgenland region, the vineyard plot is called Altenberg. The wine has a fragrant and elegant style. It is complex and rich with lovely aromas of raspberry, blackberry and cassis. A hint of oakiness can be detected since the wine matured for almost a year in small used barriques.
