Johannes Trapl‘s Uni6 – pronounced unisex in German- is a cuvée of Blaufränkisch (80%) and Sankt Laurent. It comes in a pet nat bottle however it is not sparkling! The 2021 is a rustic rosé, complex and fruity. It has aromas of pomegranate, red currant, lime and a bit of watermelon. Pleasant acidity and some tannins.
The vintage 2022 is also light and summery with pomegranate and red currant aromas. No watermelon, no lime in the 2022 instead green tea leaves and a hint of rose petals. Amazing summer wine.
