Malvar from Vinos Ambiz refers to its grape variety, indigenous to Spain. It stems from 100 year-old (!!) vines. The wine is the least funky of Ambiz’s selection: aromatic, and herbal, balanced with a hint of oxi. We discovered lovely aromas of jasmine, grapefruit and almonds.

Don’t forget to tilt the bottle few times before opening it.

Vinos Ambiz is a micro-winery run by Fabio Bartolomei. Born and raised in Scotland with Italian parents, he decided to move to Spain 20 years ago. After working out of sheds and garages, he found his path to happiness, making low-intervention wine.
