Zweigelt: 5 days skin fermentation of destemmed but uncrushed berries
Merlot: 7 days whole bunch fermented
8 month on the full lees in 50% stainless steel and 50% big old barrels
Velue Rot is made of 85% Zweigelt and 15% of Merlot. The process of destemming the grapes and the gentle fermentation without pressing the berries have given a light and fun style to the wine. Fruity notes of cherry, raspberry and red currant.
